Head machinist, Steve Vance is proud to announce the opening of VZ Engines, a full service automotive machine shop, specializing in racing engines.
Steve has partnered with long term customers and friends, Pete and Mike Zayachek, of Argyle, NY to open the shop, which is located in Gap Mills, just past the Cheese N’ More Store on Route 3 in Monroe County.
Steve is a certified ASE Certified Machinist and a graduate of the School of Automotive Machinists in Houston, Texas. A native of this area, he brings years of Nascar and National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) experience to the shop and is excited about the new business opportunity in Monroe County. The shop offers Cylinder Head Work, Block Machining, Specialty Aluminum Tig Welding and Fabrication, Crank Shaft Balancing, Engine Dyno Service and Full Automotive Machining on industrial diesels.
