Vivian Laverne Chamberlain, 67, of King, NC formerly of Rainelle passed away peacefully in her home on Mar. 30, 2026.
She was born on Sept. 13, 1958 in Hinton, WV.
She is preceded in death by her father, Troy Chamberlain; mother, Carol Walker and a brother, David Chamberlain.
Vivian was a loving and a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved her Lord and Savior with all her heart and soul. She loved to write and her love of music was untouchable. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. To know her was to love her.
Those left to cherish her memory are 3 daughters, Rebecca (Steve) Reed of NY, Barbara (Donald) Reed of NC and Nicole (Christopher) Mather of NC; sister, Dawn Lester; brothers, James Walker, Johnnie Walker, Jr., Bobby Walker and Troy Chamberlain; 7 grandchildren, Kayla (Jake) Reed, William (Carley) Sisk, Jr., Kristen (Daniel) Sechrist, Brooklyn Critchley, Nicholas Critchley, Jr., Brandon Mather and Bella Mather; 3 great-grandchildren, Bryleigh, Skyla and Paisley.
Graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Apr. 4, at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville with Pastor Steve Martin officiating. Visitation will be from 1 until 2 p.m. at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle.
In lieu of flowers, donations be made to the funeral home to defray the cost.
