Virginia Christine Dixon, 88, of Renick, WV, passed away Monday, Dec. 16, 2024, at the Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley. Born Apr. 2, 1936, in Auto, she was the daughter of the late John Earl and Hattie Sheets Clendenen. Chris was a member of the Renick Baptist Church and was retired from Greenbrier County Schools as a Teachers Aide. She loved feeding her birds, especially the hummingbirds. Chris loved spending time with her grandchildren and watching the Hallmark Channel, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy and talking to her friends on the phone.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Laddie Allen Dixon and a brother, Ellis Clendenen.

Survivors include two sons, Brian Dixon (Lisa) and Mark Dixon (Rose), daughters, Cindy Walton (Doug) and Debbie Dixon, grandchildren, Brad Dixon, Kala Cordori, Adam Walton, Katie Walton, Brianna McDaniel (Jesse) and Max Dixon, brothers-in-law, Frank Dixon and Sammie Bare (Margie), several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral service will be at 6 p.m., Friday, Dec. 20, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Steve Barnett officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, Friday, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy should be made to the Ellis Chapel Cemetery c/o: Otis Lewis, 486 Trout Road, Williamsburg, WV 24991.
