In honor of Veteran’s Day, Frankford Elementary School held their annual Veteran’s Day Program on Monday, Nov. 10. This is an event we look forward to every year. The program included the presentation of the flags by the Greenbrier East High School ROTC and the 5th grade Bell Choir playing the Star-Spangled Banner and America the Beautiful.
There was a Flag Parade, readings by several students and Mr. Bryant, Greenbrier County Superintendent, played TAPS. This year we had over two dozen local veterans in attendance. It is a privilege and an honor to have them with us each year.
