Milan, Michigan

Age 92, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024, at Brightside Memory Care Facility in Jackson, MI, with her loving family by her side. She was born on Aug. 14, 1932, in Whitewoman Twp, KS, to Jack and Esther (Miller) Cunkle. In 1950, she married Keith Falk in Milan, MI, and he preceded her in death on November 23, 2005.

Boo was a 1950 graduate of Milan High School, and went on to work at Basset’s Clothing Store, and later as the Middle School Secretary in Lewisburg, WV. She was a talented painter, and seamstress, authored her own autobiography, and enjoyed listening to her “hillbilly music” and her walks through the mountains.

She is survived by her two sons: Merrill (Kari) Falk of Milan, and Jack (Janine) Falk of Stockbridge; granddaughter Amanda Falk of Kentucky and grandson, George (Michelle) Falk of Lansing. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Keith, and her brother, Ronald Cunkle.

Cremation has taken place, and there will be a burial held at Marble Park Cemetery, Milan, MI.
