Oxford, GA – Vera Maysel Murphy, 96, passed away Monday, Dec. 24, 2018.
Mrs. Murphy was the daughter of Wannie and Zelma Belcher Chapman.
She was the widow of the late Carl Murphy. Mrs. Murphy was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church, Oxford, Ga.
Survivors include her children, Glenn and Michael Murphy; sisters, Nola Gilbertson, Norma Sanders and Marie Zoog; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, at Macedonia Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church Friday from 1 to 2 p.m.
