An upholstery class and a course about starting a career in real estate will be held at New River Community and Technical College’s Greenbrier Valley Campus in January.
Beginning and Intermediate Upholstery will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday evenings from Jan. 7 through Feb. 4. It is geared toward beginning and intermediate students interested in learning the tools, materials, and processes of upholstery. The cost of the upholstery class is $150 for new students and $100 for returning students.
The workforce education training to become a licensed real estate professional will start Jan. 5. Upon completion of the course, students will be equipped to take the West Virginia Real Estate Licensure Examination. The course is led by Martha Hilton (ABR, CRS, GRI) Real Estate Broker in Lewisburg.
Real Estate Pre-Licensing will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. starting on Jan. 5. The cost is $400, plus approximately $50 for a textbook.
