Trillium School for Performing Arts new session starts January 20

Hip-Hop at Trillium School

The Trillium School for Performing Arts has movement classes for students age 3 through adult. Creative movement, Contemporary dance, hip hop, Qi Gong, yoga and improvisation are all offered at three locations. Also, Trillium invites everyone to Friday Night Alive!, a showcase of talent on Jan. 17 at 7 p.m., at the Lewis Theatre. Admission is only $6 for adults, $3 for full time students and AmeriCorps, free under 6.

Movement teachers this session are Carli Mareneck, Allison Coleman, Becky Godby, Lynn Benedict, Rachel Rugh and Samara Michaelson. New this year is Poetry with Sarah Elkins, at the Dogwood Studio in Fairlea. Registration forms are on-line at www.trilliumperformingarts.org on the school page. You may also register at The Trillium office at the Lewis Theatre, 115 N. Court Street. There is a mail slot available 24 hours a day. Need based partial scholarships are available.
