On Sunday, Apr. 14, at 3 p.m., Trillium Performing Youth (TPY) will present a spring dance showcase at the Lewis Theatre in Lewisburg.

TPY was founded by Beth White and Carli Mareneck in 1999. The group continues to reach our community through free performances for public and private schools and residential homes for the elderly.

Each year dancers receive training and unique opportunities to work with professional guest choreographers and participate in regional festivals. WV dance member, Hilary Jereza, teaches TPY Ballet and modern dance. She has also choreographed two works for the showcase. Student choreographers include Alex DeGraff, Georgia Foster, Zenya Walters, and Sallie Wittkamper with performers Ceili Allder, Sarah Lore, Daisy McLaughlin and Hannah Smart.

In September 2019 Artistic Director Carli Mareneck will be joined by Donald Laney from WV Dance Company for a dynamic year of classes and choreography. TPY welcomes new members. Scholarships are available.

Please contact Trillium at 304-645-3003 for more information. Tickets are $10 for General admission and $5 for students. Please join us for a wonderful afternoon.
