The highly-anticipated Magic of Christmas in Lewisburg held a successful kick-off to the holiday festivities last weekend on Saturday, Nov. 20, with a packed tree lighting ceremony at the Green Space downtown. Mayor Beverly White gave the opening remarks before the tree was lit, and Cassidy Hicks led the sing-a-long with classic Christmas carols.
