On Apr. 16, the Throttle Throbs Car Club held their April meeting at the 50 East Restaurant, White Sulphur Springs. Members are happy to announce that they will award two additional scholarships in May. Thanks to the support of the sponsors and hard work of club members, the club will award six scholarships at $1,000 each. Three of the scholarships will go to Greenbrier West seniors Joshua Rankin, Kala Dolton and Joshua Spurlock. The remaining scholarships will go to Greenbrier East seniors Talena Justice, Miranda Van Hoye and Helen Masters.

The scholarships are in memory of Greg Carter, a Greenbrier County Fireman that lost his life in the line of duty.

The club is preparing for their May 23 show at Memorial Park, White Sulphur Springs. The show is open to all classes of cars, trucks and motorcycles. For information contact club president Ron Ness at 304-645-5055.
