Fairlea-Thomas James Oney, 82, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2021, at Stonerise Lewisburg.
Born Feb. 22, 1939, in Slagle, WV, he was the son of the late Turner Thomas Oney and Emily Susan Brant Oney.
Tom was a member of the Fairlea ARP Church. He was also a charter member of the Greenbrier County Emergency Ambulance Service.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Margaret Oney and a sister.
He is survived by a sister, many nieces and nephews, several cousins, and many friends.
Funeral service was held Thursday, Nov. 18, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel where Rev. Ike Hughes officiated. Burial followed in Greenbrier Memorial Gardens, Lewisburg. Visitation was one hour prior to the service.
