Thomas Albert Warner

Sugar Grove-Thomas “Tom” Albert Warner, 89, of Sugar Grove, WV, passed away Monday, Feb. 6, 2023, at his home.

He was born Mar. 10, 1933, in Teter Gap, a son of the late Boyd Warner and Clara Susan Arbaugh.

A star athlete while attending Circleville High School, Tom played football as a running back and was even offered a scholarship to attend WVU based on his ability. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict.

In addition to his life-long work as a cattle producer, Tom also worked as a contractor in the Baltimore Shipyards for many years. He was a man who will be remembered for his unrivaled work ethic and unwavering convictions.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, Feb. 8, in the Thomas A. Warner Cemetery (located on his farm).

Pallbearers were friends in attendance.
