Introduction to theatre students at Concord University’s Beckley campus are presenting the murder mystery “Win, Lose or Die” on Tuesday, Nov. 19. The performance begins at 5:30 p.m. in Room E 10 at the Erma Byrd Higher Education Center in Beaver. The community is invited to attend and there is no admission charge.
“Win, Lose or Die” is a one-act, audience participation play written by Karen Vuranch who teaches the introduction to theatre class. The play is about “Friendly Feud,” a Hollywood game show seeking contestants.
Students are featured as the game show hosts and audience members will be selected as contestants. Some of them might have an ulterior motive and be charged with more than trying to break into show business. The suspects will be interrogated by the audience and a vote will be taken as to the guilty party.
Prior to the performance, a hot dog and nacho sale will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. as a fundraiser for victims of domestic violence.
For more information contact Concord University’s Beckley location at 304-256-0270 or beckley@concord.edu.
