The Montclaire String Quartet Live at GVT!

Greenbrier Valley Theatre, the state professional theatre of West Virginia, is proud to host the Montclaire String Quartet on Saturday, September 22 at 2:30 p.m.

Tickets are $18 for general adult admission, $14 for seniors (60+) and $10 for children/students. For more information, call the GVT Box Office at (304) 645-3838 or visit www.gvtheatre.org.

The Montclaire String Quartet, the premier string quartet of the state of West Virginia, is made up of Cristian Fatu and Jennifer Woods on the violin, Bernard Di Gregorio on the viola and Andrea Di Gregorio on the cello. For their concert at GVT they will be performing works by Franz Schubert, Erwin Schulhoff and Fanny Mendelssohn-Hensel.

“An exemplary performance by premiere classical musicians,” said Special Events Committee member and String Quartet fan Judith Huber, about what to expect from such an elite group of musicians.

This renowned quartet has won many prestigious awards, including the Evian International String Quartet Competition, the Banff International String Quartet Competition and the Coleman Chamber Ensemble Competition, to name just a few, and have been artists-in-residence at the University of Northern Iowa, the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater and the West Virginia Symphony.
