The goal of the event is to highlight local youth musicians and give them an opportunity to experience performing for a crowd in a professional setting.<\/h1>\r\nOver 100 people were in attendance. The performers brought their A-game to the battle; more than 20 students from southern West Virginia performed a variety of music including original songs and popular covers. The winner in the Crowd Choice category Skip Class Play Brass, a brass ensemble from Greenbrier East High School with fantastic talent, had the crowd dancing their entire set. Revanna Preston, a creative and soulful singer-songwriter, was the overall winner. High Rocks would like to thank City National Bank for sponsoring the event, Hill & Holler for providing the venue, and our expert panel of judges: Devin Preston, Adam DeGraff, and Ethan Jones.\r\n\r\nThe Hub is a centrally-located, safe, inclusive and fun student caf\u00e9 for middle and high school age students.
