Taveesak “Tuy” Sanguancheep, 80, of Cald-well, passed away at his home on the evening of Mar. 23, 2025.
He was born Feb. 17, 1945, in Nakhornphatom, Thailand, the son of the late Kruruan and Jumnion Sanguancheep.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, with one sister and one brother living still, in Thailand.
Tuy is survived by his wife of 52 years, Nancy Dillard Sanguancheep; his son, Jeremy and wife Crystal; grandchildren, Myriah Hambrick and husband Carl, Samantha Hambrick, Magnus Sanguancheep, and Katrielle Sanguancheep; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Trinity, Thomas, Ryeanne, and Khailea; in-laws include, Larry Dillard and wife Shirley, David Dillard and wife Jenny, Tammy Morrison and husband Jeff, Kevin Dillard and wife Angie; nieces and nephews include, Chelsea, Sean, Zack, Mackenzie, Jason, Jamie, Nora, Austin, Ross, and Nolan; with several great-nieces and nephews.
Tuy was employed for 35 years at BF Goodrich plant in Union, WV. Some of his interests included gardening, home improvement, fishing, cooking, painting and finding a good bargain. Tuy came to the U.S. in 1970 as a student. Achieving a long time goal, he became a U.S. citizen Jan. 9, 2023. Tuy and wife Nancy have been married for 52+ years.
A Celebration of life will be held Saturday, Apr. 5, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Wallace & Wallace funeral home in Lewisburg, WV. He will be dearly missed and always cherished.
