On Saturday, May 19, CASA of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit and Monroe Day Care Center will host a Tacky Prom.

The event will be held at Ronceverte Lions Gym and will begin at 7 p.m. There will be finger foods, dancing, drinks and karaoke. Organizers encourage you to find your tackiest attire and come out to support two great causes. The tackiest attendees will be voted Prom King and Queen and receive prizes.

CASA of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit is located in Lewisburg and serves children in Greenbrier and Pocahontas Counties. CASA recruits, trains and administers volunteers to speak on behalf of abused and neglected children in the circuit court. Last year they provided a voice in court for 242 local kids. Monroe Daycare Center is located in Union. Their mission is to provide a high quality developmentally appropriate program for all children enrolled in the center. It is a tier 2 center and has been in operation for 43 years.
