Susan Jane Paris Litton

Alderson-Susan Jane Paris Litton, 69, formerly of Charleston, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, Fairlea, following a sudden illness.

Born Apr. 12, 1945, in Beckley, she was the daughter of the late Warden Thomas and Martha Alice Goode Paris.

Ms. Litton worked for C&P Telephone, Bell Atlantic and was retired from BB&T. She was a wonderful mother and a kind and giving woman. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include: daughter, Virginia L. Rodriguez of Virginia Beach, VA; son, Douglas W. Litton, II of St. Albans; five grandchildren; brother, Ward Paris, II of Charleston; three sisters, Elizabeth Paris Holcomb of Alderson, Dana Meador of Inverness, FL and Martha Horvath of Cummings, GA; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside memorial services and burial will be held Saturday, Jan. 31, at 2 p.m. at the Alderson Cemetery, Alderson, with Brother Randy Meador officiating.

Arrangements by Lobban Funeral Home, Alderson.
