Sue Ann Osborne-Wilson, 88, of Ansted passed away on Tuesday night, Nov. 19, 2024, at Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley.

She was born on Feb. 14, 1936, in Ansted; the daughter of the late Ralph Jennings Nuckols and Thelma Mildred Eades Nuckols.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Bobbie Gene “John” Osborne and second husband, Robert N. Wilson; sister, Sandra Nuckols Willis; and brother-in-law, Jack M. Sink.

Sue was a member of St. Paul’s Methodist Church; Methodist Women’s Society and Ansted Garden Club. Sue was a retired educator in Special Ed. She enjoyed reading, playing card games, board games, going to Casinos and traveling to various places. She loved college football and the WV Mountaineers. The most enjoyment was spending time with her family. She will be missed.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughter, Pamela (Ron) Pontano of New Jersey; step daughter, Patty Knight of Texas; son, Johnny B. Osborne (Lori) of Ansted; step son, Michael Wilson (Karen) of Florida; sister, Joella Nuckols Sink of Alabama; grandchildren, John William, Brandi, Jennifer, Kimberly, Theresa, Jacob, Meghan, Johnathan and Angela; ten great grandchildren; four nephews and special friends, Debbie Grimmitt and Kathleen Kelly; extended family and friends.

Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7, at Wallace & Wallace Chapel, Ansted with Pastor Herman Jones officiating. Friends may gather with the family from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
