The State Fair of West Virginia has announced the launch of its first-ever mobile app, powered by AT&T.
The new app allows fairgoers to schedule their day, purchase tickets, find their favorite locations on an interactive map and participate in a social media-based photo hunt for a chance to win a week pass to the 2017 State Fair of West Virginia.
“We are very excited for our new mobile app and even more excited to work with AT&T for this new venture,” State Fair CEO Kelly Collins saidd. “This app is going to make it even easier for fairgoers to purchase tickets. Instead of waiting in line, they will be able to purchase and scan tickets directly from their phones.”
“The West Virginia State Fair is a great way to showcase the Mountain State. We’re glad that we could team up with the fair to make it easier for West Virginians to plan their visit and help them capture their memories,” said Andy Feeney, AT&T’s regional vice president for external affairs in West Virginia.
The SFWV app also includes frequently asked questions, news and State Fair branded photo features. It launched Monday, July 18, for free in both the App Store and Google Play Store.
