State Fair Photography Show - A Fair Favorite The State Fair Photography Show, a crowd favorite, attracts several hundred exhibitors from throughout the region and beyond who compete for top awards. The show features a variety of black and white and color categories of all kinds of subjects of human interest, and it is a must see event for anyone who has a passion for taking photos or enjoys looking at photos. Pictured is Amelia Tuckwiller, who won a Best of Show Award at the 2014 State Fair Photography Show for her photo of the draft horse pull in front of the Grandstand with the Ferris wheel in the background. Tuckwiller, a long time exhibitor, has also earned top awards at the fair for her scrapbooks, including her State Fair scrapbooks that she has made and exhibited throughout the years. In addition to her large collection of fair photographs that she has taken over the years, she also has archived video footage that documents the fair’s history. Be sure to see the Photography Show which is showcased in the West Virginia building.
