The State Fair of West Virginia is proud to announce Jaedyn Funk of Wardensville, WV, as the winner of the 2026 State Fair of West Virginia Art Contest.
Jaedyn, an upcoming 11th-grade student at East Hardy High School, has received recognition for her artistic achievements throughout the region. Her selection as the 2026 Art Contest winner marks a historic milestone, as she becomes the youngest winner in the history of the competition.
Drawing inspiration from animals and the natural world, Jaedyn plans to pursue her passion for art by attending art school after graduation and continuing her creative journey.
