Spotlight on authors in Alderson

Lions and Authors and Books…Oh My! is a one day event on Apr. 25, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. at the Alderson Community Center. The event is being presented by the West Virginia Writers, Inc. Region 3 and will feature many noted authors from our area. Here is an introduction to two of the authors that will be present that day.

Miles Dean has written poetry and short prose for 11 years. Books of poetry, “Furrows on Parchment” and “Musings after Midnight.” Miles has received awards for prose and poetry from West Virginia Writers, Inc. every year from 2010-2014.

Cheryl Kula lives on a mountain in West Virginia with her husband and two small daughters. Her first children’s book is “Play Day with Daddy” and can be found on Amazon.

Come and join us for a great time for the whole family. There will be food, door prizes, a scavenger hunt and much more! Stay for music at 6:30. All events are free.
