The Spanglers, a seven-piece Americana-rhythm and blues-psychedelic family band from Lewisburg, will be playing The Wild Bean next Friday, November 6, 2015, at 8 p.m. With over 80 years of combined experience as musicians, The Spanglers have their roots in Lewisburg and have been playing regionally over the past two years. The Spanglers concluded recording their first album, Restless, in early 2015. The album is set to be released by Christmas 2015.

The Spanglers are comprised of Mark Spangler, Josiah Spangler, Hannah Spangler, Evan Olds, Abigail Reynolds, Jeremiah Hatfield, and William Clapham. Mark, Evan, and Josiah formed the band in 2009 under the name Mark Spangler and the Minor Profits. That iteration of the band frequented the Wild Bean, playing material from Mark Spangler’s record, Transition, released in 2008. The full band, The Spanglers, came to life in early 2014 with the addition of Jeremiah and William on lead guitar and keyboards, respectively, and Hannah Spangler and Abigail Reynolds on percussion and backing vocals. Now, The Spanglers are debuting new material from Restless as well as reimagined material from Transition.

Come and experience The Spanglers next Friday, November 6, 2015, at 8 p.m. They’ll bring the jams for your java.
