Ronceverte-Shirley Louise Scott, 76, passed away Saturday, Mar. 19, 2016, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea.
Shirley was born Nov. 12, 1939, in Renick Valley and was the daughter of the late Lonnie Warren and Gertrude Mae North King.
She attended Ronceverte Christian Church and was a retired certified nursing assistant.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Paul Scott, Sr. and brother, Eugene King.
Surviving are: daughters, Karen (Jody) Campbell of Ronceverte, Sue Scott of Charleston and Ellen (Darrell) Miller of Ronceverte; sons, Doug Scott of Hillsboro, Henry “Bo” Scott, Jr. of Ronceverte and Gary Scott (Connie) of Thornburg, VA; grandchildren, Chrissy Campbell-Butler, Mike (Misty) Campbell, Matt (Tiffany) Campbell, Sara Campbell, Ben Hinkle, Luke Hinkle, Jesse (Katy) Hinkle, Cody (Jessica) Scott, Kayla (Dusty) Scott, Logan Scott, Jacob Scott, Michael Kyle Hanna, Tyler Hanna, Kelsie Tyson, Kassidy Tyson and Shania Boggs; great-grandchildren, Brandon (Mattie) Persinger, Brittany Persinger, Ceara Campbell, Ryan Campbell, Adam Campbell, Ethan Butler, Jakob Campbell, David Campbell and Axton Scott; great-great-grandchild, Aubree Hurley; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and three sisters-in-law.
Funeral services for Mrs. Scott will be Friday, Mar. 25, at 1 p.m. at Ronceverte Christian Church with Mr. Roy Massie, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Bruffey’s Creek Immanuel Church Cemetery at Lobelia.
The family received their family and friends on Thursday evening, Mar. 24, at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Ronceverte.
