Shirley Ann Hanson
Lewisburg-Shirley Ann Hanson, affectionately known as “’Momma Shirley,” 63, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at The Brier Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Ronceverte.
She was born Mar. 31, 1952, at Clintonville, the daughter of the late Hubert Ray and Ruth Virginia Wvatt Deitz.
Shirley was a homemaker, a former, avid 4-H Leader, and was of the Methodist faith.
In addition to her mother and step-father, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jade Hanson.
She is survived by her children, Ruth Hanson (Andrew Brooks) of Lewisburg, Teresa Adkins (Anthony) of Hinton and Clark Luther Hanson (Lauri) of New Market, TN; grandchild, Alexis Hanson; and grandson, “Bubba Adkins.”
Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, May 29, at Wallace Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, Clintonville, with Pastor Mike Loudermilk officiating. Entombment will follow in the Wallace Memorial Mausoleum.
Visitation was Thursday evening, May 28, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg.
