Seven Graduate from Clinical Medical Assistant course and Dabney S. Lancaster

Seven students recently completed the 140-hour Clinical Medical Assistant course at Dabney S. Lancaster Community College. Front Row: Amanda Kessinger of Lexington (left), Judy Kessinger of Glasgow, Instructor Amanda Crawford, Jordan Camden-Samante of Glasgow and Dreamma Lawhorn of Clifton Forge. Back Row: Angela Cooper of Natural Bridge Station (left), Roxanne Smithers- Nicely of Clifton Forge and Sheila Martin of Natural Bridge. Each received a certificate of completion from DSLCC, and are eligible to sit for the National Health Career Association’s Certified Clinical Medical Assistant exam. The CMA classroom course, offered through the DSLCC non-credit program, is scheduled on the DSLCC Clifton Forge campus again this fall, beginning Oct. 1. A Pharmacy Technician classroom course is also being offered in the fall, beginning Oct. 15.
