The program for the September meeting of the Williamsburg Committee Educational Outreach Service (CEOS) Club at the Williamsburg Historical Foundation Museum was “Sensational Soups” written by WVU Extension Service Agents and presented by club member Patricia Post.
Members Barbara Deeds, Blanche Knicely, Cassandria Perkins, Loretta Shirley, Laura Rose, Laura Ann and Denver Tiller, and Burl and Patty Post, shared soup and recipes with each other while learning how to preserve soup and make dry mix soups. Each member received a Potato Soup Dry Mix sample and recipe too.
The club will be co-hosting the County Fall Leadership Day at the WVU Building at the State Fairgrounds on Sept. 27.
The next club meeting will be Oct. 11, beginning at noon, at the Williamsburg museum. The program, “A Haunting History,” will be presented by Cassandria Perkins.
All are invited to participate.
