Carnegie Hall invites artists to submit their work to the 27th Annual Season of Colors Juried Art Exhibition for state and regional artists. This year’s theme is “Out of the Blue.”
Entries for the exhibit must be postmarked by Wednesday, July 6, and notification of accepted works will be the week of Aug. 8. Works selected will reflect the theme, and will be judged on the basis of originality, technical quality and thematic depth. Cash awards totaling $750 are given to Best of Show, 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
The Awards Reception is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 2, from 5-8 p.m. in the Old Stone Room of Carnegie Hall in Lewisburg. The exhibit will close on Saturday, Oct. 29. For more information or to obtain an entry form, call 304-645-7917.
The 2016 Season of Colors Juried Art Exhibition is presented with financial assistance from the WV Division of Culture and History and the National Endowment for the Arts, with approval from the WV Commission on the Arts.
