SBA offers free government contracting training workshops

The U.S. Small Business Administration is excited to once again offer free web-enabled instructor-led Government contracting training sessions. Topics include Financial Management for Government Contractors, Proposal Preparation, and Federal Contracting and Government Contract Management.

The seminars are offered to eligible individuals or small businesses nationwide, as part of SBA’s efforts to provide relevant training to the small business community. Instructors for the training are from Stover & Associates, Inc.

“I encourage West Virginia small businesses interested in Government contracting to take advantage of these free learning opportunities,” said Judy McCauley, director of SBA’s West Virginia District Office.

Online seminars include:

Financial Management for Government Contractors

• Session 1: Sept. 4, 1-4 p.m. Eastern

• Session 2: Sept. 5, 1-4 p.m. Eastern

Proposal Preparation

• Session 1: Sept. 16, 1-4 p.m. Eastern

• Session 2: Sept. 17, 1-4 p.m. Eastern

Federal Contracting and Government Contract Management

• Session 1: Sept. 18, 1-4 p.m. Eastern

• Session 2: Sept. 19, 1-4 p.m. Eastern
