White Sulphur Springs-Sarah Louise Clonche, 82 went home to be with the Lord at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV, on Monday July 5, 2021.
Born Nov. 6, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Joe and Frances Campbell.
Sarah was a member of Wild Meadow Baptist Church, White Sulphur Springs, and was retired from The Greenbrier as a waitress after 20 years of service.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Clonche; two brothers, Joseph Campbell, and Lonnie Campbell; sister, Helen Knighton; and nephew, Justin Baker.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Billy Joe Clonche of White Sulphur Springs; three sisters, Jo Ann Baker of White Sulphur Springs, Geneva Thomas of Fayetteville, and Ella Mae Graham (Donald) of Covington, VA; nephews, Donnie Graham, Delmas Graham, and Michael Baker; and two great-nephews, Chase Graham, and Jacob Graham.
Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, July 8, at the chapel of Wallace & Wallace in White Sulphur Springs where Rev. Roger “Wahoo” McDaniel officiated. Burial followed in Whatcoat Cemetery in White Sulphur Springs.
Visitation was at the church before the service.
Pallbearers were: Donnie Graham, Delmas Graham, Michael Baker, Chase Graham, Ernest Wade, and Curtis Reaser.
