Below are election results for both Greenbrier County and the state as a whole. Winners are in bold. Official results will be available after an election canvass on Monday, May 16. The general election will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 8. President Bernie Sanders (D) 2,864 votes, 52.93 percent, state total 61,691 Hillary Clinton (D) 1,894 votes, 35 percent, state total 42,226 Former Texas penitentiary inmate Keith Judd received 63 votes in Greenbrier County with a state total of 2,516. In 2012, Judd took 41 percent of the West Virginia vote in the primary while he was in prison, and West Virginia Democrats chose him over Barack Obama.
