Russ Agre Siegel, 87, of Lewisburg, passed away peacefully Monday Sept. 15, 2025, at Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea, WV.

Russ was born Apr. 19, 1938, in Danube, Minnesota, to the late Frederick and Agnes Agre Siegel.

After graduating from St. Olaf College, Russ joined the Air Force where he served 21 years as a navigator before retiring in 1981 with a rank of Lt. Colonel. Russ was actively involved with the Vietnam Veterans Association, the American Legion and the Air Force Association.

Russ was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Bernice Coff  Siegel. He is survived by a sister, Ina Holt of Wilmar, MN; niece, Linda Lopez (Jeffrey)  of Raymond, MN. and nephew, Tom Holt (Betty) of Wilmar, MN.

Russ was a faithful member of Rhema Christian Center, where he spent countless hours contributing his time and skills in any area where help was needed.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Sept. 18, with visitation at 12 noon followed by the funeral at 1 p.m., with Pastor Stewart Farley officiating. Burial with military rites will follow in Woodland Cemetery at Auto, WV.
