Gateway Industries Inc, is thrilled to announce the 28th annual Derby Day “Run for the Roses,” a fundraising event dedicated to supporting individuals with significant disabilities in need of vocational rehabilitation services. This year it will be held on Saturday, May 4, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Cecil H. Underwood Building of the WV State Fairgrounds.
For the past 28 years, Gateway has hosted this Gala fundraising event, a unique blend of live music, cocktails, buffet dinner, and the thrill of watching the race on big screen TVs. You can even pick your favorite horse. From 4 to 6 p.m. bid on your favorite items in the huge silent auction, participate in the most spectacular hat contest, and take a chance on a two half-and-half drawings and a live flower auction. Don’t forget the door prizes after the race!
Come out and enjoy this celebrated annual event with friends and family. Tickets are $45 in advance and $50 at the door.
