Members of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Ronceverte, and St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, White Sulphur Springs, have issued an invitation to all area residents to attend any or all special Holy Week services scheduled at the churches.

The Good Friday services will be at both churches at 3 p.m. on Apr. 18 and Catholics will also be participating in the annual Good Friday Walking Stations of the Cross in Union, beginning at the All Saints Episcopal Church at noon. St. Catherine of Siena will host the traditional Easter Vigil Mass at 8 p.m. and will have an Easter Sunday Mass at 11 a.m. St. Charles Borromeo will have Easter Sunday Mass at 9 a.m.

In addition, Father Chapin Engler has announced the 2014 First Saturday devotions and daily Mass will resume at the Catholic Church of Mary Immaculate near Williamsburg on May 3 at 10:30 a.m. and will be held on each of the first Saturdays through October. A covered dish luncheon will follow at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Larry Musselmen on Butler Mountain Road nearby.

Also, Father Engler has announced the resuming of the Sunday 7 a.m. Mass at St. Charles Borromeo Church, located across US 60 West from The Greenbrier Clinic in White Sulphur Springs, on May 4.

All services at both churches are open to the public and information on the Mass schedules and parish activities are on line at parishesonline.com/scripts/HostedSites/org.asp?ID9278 or 9252.
