Make It Shine Day on Saturday, Apr. 6, in Ronceverte, is dedicated to Doug Hylton.

Saturday, Apr. 6, will be Ronceverte’s “Make It Shine Day.” This year the town will be dedicating its efforts to long-time citizen Doug Hylton who passed away recently.

Doug was an avid believer in his community, and he lived as he felt for the town of Ronceverte. He could always be seen cleaning, trimming, or picking up the town to make it better for all. This year, in honor of his efforts, we are dedicating the day to him.

The day is sponsored by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection and the State of West Virginia.

Volunteers are welcome, we will meet in the parking lot to the left of the Train Depot at 8:30 a.m. Come prepared for the weather and a lot of community pride! If you have any questions or need further assistance please contact Tammy Dotson Rhodes, executive director, Main Street Ronceverte, at 304-647-3140.
