With an 80 percent chance of rain, the Easter Bunny couldn’t have ordered a more perfect day for an egg hunt.
On Mar. 29, as far as the eye could see, the Ronceverte Elementary School playground was painted entirely with colored Easter Eggs! There were 7,640 colored, plastic, goodie-filled eggs, to be exact! The eggs were donated and hid (by grade level) by our amazing RES families and volunteers.
During the second and third grade hunt, one parent was overheard saying, “I’ve never feared for my life more than when Principal Stewart said “GO” to almost 100 students!” We are proud to announce that no injuries occurred during any of the day’s activities.
Faculty, staff, and students would like to say thank you to our families and community for everything that they do for our school, not just on special occasions but each and every day.
