Hines-Roger Dale George, 65, passed away Monday, Mar. 9, 2020, at his home.
Born Feb. 28, 1955, at Summersville, he was the son of the late Boyd Denvin and Sue White George.
Roger was a disabled Coal Miner. He was a true mountain man and loved to hunt and fish.
Survivors include his son, Chad George (Lori) of White Sulphur Springs; daughter, Sonya McDaniel (John Robert) of Ronceverte; brothers, Rick George (Kim) of Lewisburg, and Rodney George of South Carolina; grandchildren, Jesse and Claudia McDaniel and Bryce, Nolan and Ava Grace George; great-granddaughter, Camilla Mae George; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held on Monday, Mar. 16, at the Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, where Pastor Ron George Jr. officiated. Burial followed in the Carl Cemetery, Carl, WV.
Visitation was Monday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
