Robert Lee Hanson

Salisbury, MD-Robert “Bobby” Lee Hanson, of Auto, passed away at his home in Salisbury, MD Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, at the age of 80.
Bobby is lovingly remembered by his children, Rebecca Hanson Summers of Lewisburg, Missy Hanson Cassell of Berlin, MD and Joseph Lee Hanson of Lewisburg, and is survived by sisters, Ila Grace Lyall and Nellie Wyatt, and numerous beloved grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Bobby was born in Renick on Aug. 4, 1933. He graduated from Renick High School and later became a drywall contractor. Bobby enjoyed singing and playing guitar, hunting and writing.
A celebration of his life, followed by the burying of ashes will be held at Woodland Community Church in Auto on Thursday, Nov. 7 at 2 p.m.
Friends and family are welcome and are invited to share a song, photos, a reading, a prayer, anecdote or other special memory of him.
