Robert “Carroll” Crane

Robert “Carroll” Crane, 81, of Lewisburg, passed away Sunday, Dec. 14, 2025, at Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg.
Born Mar. 25, 1944, at Beckley, he was a son of the late Joseph Hannon and Nancy Edith Dilley Crane.
Carroll was an active member and Elder of Old Stone Presbyterian Church and was a retired assistant manager of the Greenbrier Valley Airport after many years of service.
In addition to his parents, Carroll was preceded in death by an infant son, Steven Douglas Crane in 1974.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Jeffries Crane, a cousin, Joyce Crane Burke of Lewisburg and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, at Old Stone Presbyterian Church with Rev. Julie Olt officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Methodist Church Cemetery, Richlands, WV.
A Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg.
