Rita Sue Camp

White Sulphur Springs- Rita Sue Camp, 65, passed away, Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center.

Born Feb. 6, 1956, in Frankford, she was the daughter of the late Emmit and Hilda Yates Seldomridge.

She was a 1974 graduate of Greenbrier East High School. Rita was retired from the WV Department of Highways as a Purchasing Supervisor and had worked for 19 years at Food Lion.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a close friend, Carol Dixon.

Surviving Rita are her husband of 49 years, Teddy Camp; daughter, Christy Dixon (Scott) of South Carolina; grandchildren, Regan, Cole and Taylor Dixon; mother-in-law, Okell Clendenen Camp; siblings, Roger Yates (Ruth), Judy Funkhouser (Stan), Danny Seldomridge (Linda) and Steve Seldomridge (Joetta); and a friend, Bill Dixon.

The family would like to thank the staff of Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, especially Devin, Megan, Eric, Cheryl, Heather, Savannah, Kelsey, Lori, Stacy, Arlean, Byrda and Cathy for the wonderful care provided to Rita.

A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 6, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, with Pastor Youel Altizer and Pastor Lloyd Camp officiating. Burial will follow in the Little Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 5, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations of sympathy be made to the Graystone Baptist Church, 249 Skylar Drive, Lewisburg, WV 24901.
