GHS 50th reunion set
The Greenbrier High School (GHS) class of 1968 has finalized plans for their 50th year school reunion to be held Friday, July 20 and Saturday, July 21.
If you were a member or graduate of the GHS class of 1968 and have not made your reservation, or if you have not received a letter regarding the reunion, there is still time to join in the weekend events. There were about 10 members that we were unable to verify correct mailing addresses for. We need you to contact one of us no later than July 5 so that you can be included in the Saturday evening dinner count.
On Friday evening, July 20th classmates of GHS Class of 68 will be gathering on Ronceverte Island Park at Picnic Shelter #1 beginning at 4 until 10 p.m. An invitation is being extended to any former classmates and friends who would like
to join us on Friday evening beginning at 4 p.m. For those who can do so please bring a chair.
Hoover
The 52nd annual Hoover Family Reunion will be held Saturday, July 21, at Greenbrier State Forest, in the cabin area. Family and friends are invited to gather at 12 noon. Bring your favorite side dish and dessert – chicken and drinks will be provided. Bring your lawn chair and join us for fun, food, and fellowship with the Hoover family, descendants of Emmons Bright Hoover and Rachel Susan Daugherty.
