Dahmer

The annual Dahmer reunion will be held at the Charlie Mackey Park in Maxwelton on Saturday, Aug. 1. Bring a covered dish and family history and pictures. We plan to eat at 12:30 p.m. Paper products and eating utensils will be furnished.

Hanson

The family of the late John Bunyon and Maude Hayes Hanson will hold its annual reunion Saturday, July 25, at the Asbury Community Center. The Hansons are long-time residents of Greenbrier County, and Mr. Hanson operated a store for many years on Muddy Creek Mountain. Festivities will begin at 11:30 a.m. There will be food, fellowship, games and live music. There is also an auction and items will be given away. Please come, bring a covered dish and have fun with long-lost family or friends. For more information contact Deanna Lynch at 252-578-0100.

Hedrick/Shepherd

The Greenbrier County Hedrick/Shepherd 49th reunion will be held Saturday, Aug. 1, at the Mt. Vernon Methodist Church grounds in Sinks Grove near Fort Spring. We gather for a noon time meal with meat and eating utensils provided. Those coming please bring a covered dish and beverage to share. We have many allied families, such as 150 Coffmans, 75 Burdettes, 400 Hedricks, 45 Hinkles, Johnsons, Jones, a few Kings and Knights but no Queens, almost 100 Lemons, and over 50 Ramseys, Zickerfooses and Zurns. Moses Hedrick, our main ancestor, had four wives and thousands of descendants. If you are related to a Greenbrier Hedrick or Shepherd come and join us. Hoover

The 49th annual Hoover Family reunion will be held Saturday, July 25, at the Greenbrier State Forest cabin area. Family and friends are invited to gather at noon with the picnic beginning at 1 p.m. Meat, soft drinks, ice and chips will be provided. Please bring your favorite side dish or dessert to complete the picnic meal. The Hoover family members are descendants of Emmons Bright Hoover and Rachel Susan Daugherty Hoover.

Suttle

All family and friends are invited to the Suttle reunion at Williamsburg Community Building Sunday, July 19. Doors open at 11 a.m. eating at 12:30 p.m. Please bring serving utensils, food, drink and any family photos to share.

Tincher

The 68th annual Tincher reunion will be held Sunday, Aug. 2, at the Tincher Park which is six miles south of Rainelle in the area known as Crag (James River and Kanawha Turnpike/Crag Road). We’ll begin to gather at 10 a.m. and share a covered dish lunch with family and friends around 12:30. Williamsburg Junior High

Registration deadline of July 19 approaching for All School Reunion to be held Saturday, Aug. 1, for students who attended Williamsburg Jr. High School in Williamsburg. The reunion is for students who attended Williamsburg Jr. High School (WJHS), but did not fall in the classes eligible to graduate from Williamsburg High School. If you attended WJHS between 1962 to 1992, this reunion is for you. There will be day-long activities at the former Williamsburg Jr. High School and the Williamsburg Community Building. Photos will be on display, a memorial service will be held, and the evening will conclude with a dinner and dance at the Williamsburg Community Building. Registration forms have been mailed to all alumni, and one must return the registration form in order to attend the dinner and dance. It is not possible to pay at the door.
