Old Stone Presbyterian Church in Lewisburg will host a community-wide women’s retreat on Mar. 30, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The retreat’s theme is “Better Together. Building community in small ways with great love.”

The featured speaker is author, pastor, and mom, Margot Starbuck. Starbuck will share her fun, enthusiastic, common-sense approach to navigating busy lives while still finding ways to experience and express God’s love.

Starbuck is the author of several books including Small Things with Great Love, Adventures in Loving Your Neighbor which serves as the foundation for the retreat. She is a graduate of Westmont College and Princeton Theological Seminary. Starbuck and her three teens, by birth and adoption, live in Durham, NC, in the North Street Neighborhood, a community built around their friends with disabilities.

Registration is $25 which includes refreshments, lunch, learning materials and eligibility for door prizes. Free childcare is available for ages 2 to 12. The registration deadline is Mar. 1, and a form may be obtained by emailing oldstoneretreat2019@gmail.com or from the church office. Registration fee is due in advance and checks may be made payable to Presbyterian Women and mailed to Old Stone Presbyterian Church, 644 Church Street, Lewisburg, WV 24901.
