The September meeting of the Greenbrier County Republican Club will be held on Thursday, Sept. 5, at 6:30 p.m. at The Lodge at the Greenbrier Sporting Club. There will be a reception honoring Matt Herridge, Chairman of the WVGOP. Matt is expected to speak about his experience at the Republican National Convention, the upcoming election, and his plans for the WVGOP for the duration of his four-year term.
The meeting is also the membership drive for 2025, and members and new member applicants may pay dues and update contact information. All interested Republicans in Greenbrier and surrounding counties are eligible for membership. New club brochures will be available. Annual dues are $20 for individuals and $30 for a couple for the 2025 calendar year. Membership for 2024 closes on Sept. 4. Meetings are on the first Thursday of every month.
Canapés will be served along with nonalcoholic drinks. The public is welcome to attend, and reservations may be made by calling or texting 304-641-1205.
