The Greenbrier County Republican Club will hold its annual Christmas Dinner with the theme “A Salute to Veterans” at the Dutch Haus Restaurant (Elks Country Club) on Thursday, Dec. 6. Social hour begins at 6 p.m., and a buffet dinner will be served at 7 p.m.

Call 304-641-1205 or 304-645-7045 for information and/or to purchase tickets at $35 per person.

Guests are requested to bring a non-perishable food item for the local food pantry.

Speaker for the evening will be Colonel Mark Harris, M.D. The local physician and retired colonel from the US Army served for 25 years in the United States, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. In addition to a medical doctorate, he earned three other master degrees. Col. Harris was awarded the Legion of Merit and the Bronze Star.
