Despite predicted snowy weather on Saturday, Mar. 24, over 200 interested and committed citizens gathered for the Trump Train Dinner sponsored by the Greenbrier County Republican Club.
Featured were 15 of the 17 Republican candidates running in the May 8 primary election. All the funds raised by the dinner will be used to support the Republican candidates who win the primary race. All elected Greenbrier County and statewide officials were recognized.
Before dinner, the crowd stood attentively as Tristan Deeds led the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by Ben Anderson singing the Star-Spangled Banner. Ben was joined by troubadour John Wyatt to lead the diners in Almost Heaven West Virginia. Wyatt then entertained the group with an original composition entitled Stand Tall America, then offered the invocation. Dinner was catered by We Cook Catering. Security was provided by 3B Security.
