The Renick Town Council canceled its August meeting Monday evening after failing to reach a quorum.
Only two council members were present for the scheduled meeting, preventing any official business from being conducted. With no residents in attendance, those gathered at Town Hall spent the evening catching up through casual conversation before adjourning.
Despite the canceled meeting, the atmosphere remained lighthearted, with one attendee summing up the evening simply: “All’s well in Renick.”
The next meeting of the Renick Town Council is scheduled for Sept. 14, 2026, at 7 p.m. Residents are encouraged to attend.
