Reminder: Meet and Greet artist event next weekend

(Pictured from left to right) Mariam Todd is a multimedia artist. Her exhibit will feature signed, original acrylics, watercolors, collages, cyanotypes, and alcohol inks. All artwork is available for immediate sale; Lynn Payne lives in Charleston. She received her training in illustration and design from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and exhibits her artwork at Tamarack in Beckley; Josh Miller grew up and resides in Lewisburg. He has created artwork since 2005 using happy colors and participates in numerous art shows around the state.

On Saturday, Aug. 26, at the Thistle Lounge at the General Lewis Inn, there will be a Meet and Greet for three area artists who will also be showcasing their work. Lynn Payne, Josh Miller, and Mariam Todd will be at the event, which runs from 5 to 7 p.m. and is open to the public. The General Lewis is located at 1236 Washington Street East in Lewisburg.
All three artists will have their work on display through October 3, with all artwork available for immediate purchase.
The General Lewis Inn is open daily for visitors, guests, and friends. The Thistle Lounge is open daily for beverages and cocktails from 5 to 11 p.m.
